Six People Arrested In London Anti-Terrorism Investigation

Five men and one woman have been arrested in London on suspicion of terrorism. The six accused are aged 18 to 30, and BBC reports that the plot may have links to Islamic extremists, potentially targeting people or places in the United Kingdom. Security sources describe the arrests as significant but the UK terrorism threat level remains unchanged at Substantial, which means a terrorist attack is a strong possibility. All those arrested are British nationals, according to reports. Police add that the arrests are not linked to the Olympic games, which scheduled to take place in London this summer.
